Halloween events set for Friday night
Ghosts, goblins and princesses will be wandering the streets of Spruce Pine on Friday as Downtown Spruce Pine hosts the annual trick-or-treating event. Festivities will get underway at 4 p.m. and end at 8 p.m.
Hilloween will be distributing new children’s books to children 0-18 in attendance, while supplies last.
Since trick-or-treaters will be in the downtown area in costumes, drivers are asked to use extreme caution. Small children should be accompanied by adults and should wear reflective clothing.
Buladean Community Foundation will host trick-or-treating in a safe and friendly environment for kids of all ages and the event will include photos, games and more at the Buladean Community Center.
